Xbox official magazine gave it a 9.0 too, so read before you write.

It was an example not an statement, don't need to get so worked up about it, besides if they gave it a 9 and GS gave it a 9, that should say something, as i said before, every year , and sometimes every month the bar gets raised higher for what a top notch game should be. I mean, the 9 is clearly enough for me to buy the game, and then for what i see, i can draw my own conclusions and say "well this game is better than GS told me".

The point is, if you dig the game, you should care about things so trivial as some reviewers opinion, after all do as i do, get GS score and IGNs score and get the average (those are the only 2 sites i kind of trust for reviews).

Well im glad that you liked it, but that doesn't mean you are totally right about the score, people need to accept things as they come, i mean if it had gotten a 9.5 there would be a thread like "why does this get a 9.5 and GTAIV gets a 10?".

Don't you think that it only got a 9 instead of a 9.5 because over the past several months there have been plenty of games that have raised the bar a little higher?, i mean GeoW was what i think the first really true next gen game , i mean, take a look at games like perfect dark zero and imagine what they would have gotten if they got released just a month after GeoW.

Good games create higher expectations, and the fact that it got a solid 9 means that its improved, it doesnt have to get a higher grade than the previous installment to do so, thanks to this bunch of 9s im starting to get my hopes back on gamespot as an unbiased site, i mean, they were in the LBP hype, they might aswell have given it a 9.5!, but they opted not to.

Atleast with the 9 you know that it got more than a few twicks here and there, and that its a true sequel instead of an expansion just to cash some money, so give it a break, if you don't like the review, go read the official xbox magazine which is more likely to give a solid 10 to those precious xbox 360 exclusives they've hyped all year.

you could go through the model mode without having to collect the dolls. However, if yo do collect them, you'll get the solar gun which is an AWESOME gun. Unique in the Vamp fight.

What will happen during the fight with Vamp ???

the solar gun basically kills vamp excessively quickly.

If you charge it up to the max, it will take him down with a single shot only. By the way, the solar gun is a very very useful weapon if you're aiming for the Big Boss emblem.

OMG ! MGS4 never stops impressing me. last night i finished it for the 3rd time in Big Boss difficulty, but you guys gave me more reasons to replay it.

Actually i was quite disappointment with mgs4 so far im in act 4.

But all it has been lately is boss battles against chicks but with different suits. gameplay is a bit reptitive. and the graphic textures are a bit bad at times. other then that though. i think its a great game. it gets a 8.5/10 from me :D

MGS4 repetitive?, compared to Assassins Creed MGS4 is the second coming, and best graphics AC?, the Veronica Mars chick looks like crap, and so does every other character, the only thing that looks kind of nice are the environments but thats it.
