Looks pretty close, obviously not as high rez due to resolutions and and PC's extra power (AA, etc), but in terms of styIe and detail its all there.

Not EVERY cutscene, but most....one for example is when you first meet up with Ocelot/liquid and the showdown with them and the whole army. This made me think that it wasn't realtime and boosted added detail for that particular scene. (expecially akiba when he saves meryl) looked kinda TOO good, etc. don't know tho.

I was at the story today w/ some extra $ and saw the game section.

So I decided to buy a game...it was either B:BC or MGS4.

So I got MGS4...got home started playing it...and here are a few things about it.

The Beginning was wtf? I still don't get it.

The story telling and graphics are amazing...jaw dropping...Akibo is hilarious...great mix of sadness humor etc.

The gameplay though...is somewhat weak.

I'm playing on normal difficulty and the AI just seems dumb. I'm standing 20ft away in broad day light on a street, and the enemy PMC is just looking at me, ignores me completly, turns around and walks off...leaving me going wtf?

The single player is great though...i'm just not the biggest fan of the gameplay mechanics..also maybe its because i've been playingCOD4 too much, but is snake friggin slow or what? even when he's running it feels like eternity to walk across the street...I know he's old and whatnot but damn.

As for online... not a fan. I can only create 1 character, and have to pay for the rest? wtf? also the gameplay sucks in online. everyone is basically moving as slow as a snail...not my cup of tea.

Overall though I'm loving the story and the imerrsive experience, but the gameplay feels too much like MGS2-3.

The PMC's and Rebels are at a war, you don't have to intercept them at all, you can even take sides and they won't shoot at you, depends who you help out. If you think the A.I is weak, play on the hardest BIG BOSS mode...it isn't easy, the A.I is much more aware and tough.

If you think the story's good now, wait untill the last battle.

Couldn't take that impression seriously.

It's boring, from the all-gray graphics to the level design (hey, another warehouse!) to the set pieces, which involve such exciting things as blowing up a small bridge or opening a very large door with a hand crank. Yes, it's chaotic like a real war zone, but being a poor man's Call of Duty just isn't going to cut it.

his pretty much judging like a sore loser, grey graphics? WELL DERR! for its setting, what about gears 2? i'm still seeing one set of colors. Warehouse? that was just one level, his talking like its the entire game. then he uses call of duty, like NO other good or top game has used other titles for insperation.

besides this is one bad impression, every game has them...barely something to cry about.

the controls arn't final, most of the UNIQUE and new gameplay elements (cover) haven't been shown and same goes with the levels, etc.

A lot of it were placeholders, concerning controls, animations..for the show, still so much to do.

but overall it looks amazing and plays just as good. Wait untill more has been shown. that being said, don't expect a OMG change from a title that was recieved as unique and FRESH expericence. (RE4)...which many games used idea's from.

How do you get pics of Snake though? :| I got pics with viewing the camera through snake, is this the 2P camera mode? If so that would make sense and I would have to buy a new controller to do that... :P

The game does look good though, the character models are awesome, the environments have their moments.

LOL you don't need another controller silly, you just need to set the cam to 2p view...once done, press the P home button and change the controller input to 2, then just click take the photo, once done, change back to input 1 to control the game again.

Yeah thats pretty much how the game looks actually. That last photo is just wrong. How did you take those photos anyway?Cedmln

During ACT 2's briefing mission, use the MGM2 unit and move around you'll find the camera hidden behind an object close by, forgot exactly where.

Once done, take the shots using the camera through the items menu (once added) and then go to the main menu to view them and export them to the XBM, from there you can copy them on a USB drive etc and add it to the PC.

Real cool.
