So for months all these xbot dudes at my school have been teasing me about how much better CoD4 is going to look on their console. Well last night I emailed one of the xbots (thought he was my bud) the reviews from gamezone (http://www.gamezone.com/) which gave the 360 a 9.5 and the PS3 a 9.7, saying PS3 had better visuals. He replied back that he was gonna Kick mah ### today and cc'ed all his x-buddies on it. Now2 of them want to meet me at the flagpole after school for a whuppin -- isnt that stupid some people cant accept the fact that their console's hardware is limited compared to the PS3s and they have to resort to fighting about it? Sheesh, am I gonna have to go through this from now on for every multiplatform game that comes out?:evil:

I bought the 360 version for myself today it was a tough decision because I'm always looking to get something anything for my sitting duststation 3. Anyeay.

M friend came over with his PS3 version of COD4 because we wanted to compare. And even he agrees that on my HD TV setup the 360 version wipes the floor with the PS3 version. First thing is the lighting and the framrate are much smoother in the 360 version. And we both completely agreed the PS3 has the JAGGIES and the 360 version has yup you guessed it AA turned on and it's pretty much jag free.

Another thing that surprised us both was after these very noticeable things i mentioned. We started looking deeper and nitpicking just for the sake of it. And the textures are worse on the PS3 version also.

Look don't get me wrong this game looks freaking good. And the PS3 version still looks dam good for a PS3 game. But without any question once so ever. The 360 version easily once again DESTROYS the PS3 version multiplat game.

sony are just doing this for fun because they know well how much hype there was for 2.0 on the 30th. im sure when they think enough votes have been made they will say we think all are important and thats why we will be giving them all to you in the next update.

I think the controller is in bad need of a redesign. I hate to say it But I prefer the 360 controller to the ps3's . I was just playing resident evil 4 on my gamecube and I never realized how comfortable the controller was. Especially compared to all three newer consoles controllers. I think the gamecubes rumble is by far the best of all consoles and 360's is the worst. I really wish they would release a controller similar to the gamecube's and 360's. Something inbetween. What really bugs me about the ps3 controller is the bulging(sp?) sides. ApocaLypse805

I agree with you 100% man. 360's controller is much better than PS3's. PS3's is too small, and my fingers slip off the L2/R2 triggers too easily. I have to continously reposition my fingers, because the triggers slant downward, whereas the 360's slant upward, so you never have your fingers slipping. I say bring back the Boomerang controller.

My point of view and from what I have heard;
Xbox 360 Premium/Core pack - runs loud as usual
Xbox 360 Halo edition pack - runs much louder than the premium/core pack.
Xbox 360 Elite - runs 81.9% quieter than the premium/core pack.

RROD and other infamous hardware failure issues. Every console will have the same issue, no matter when you bought your console, 2005-2007. Reportedly said there will be new Falcon chips to be installed in new 360 consoles and shipped in August 2008.

The Falcon chips shipped in August of 2007. The systems run much better now. It's the "Jasper" chips which ship August 2008.
