How are they supposed to control Internet anyway? America is not the world, but Internet is global. This would just harm Americans by removing content available for free countries in the world.
"Detected high latency, unable to proceed"... :( Make sure you live in a privileged country close to an OnLive server before bothering to install this and do the mandatory signing up.
Is it OK if I am not looking forward to this game? I am bored out of my skull with all these new "sensational" linear scripted games, flooding over with graphics and atmospheric effects but seriously lacking when it comes to any exploration or freedom.
Hm, when I see 3D movies in the cinema I tend to forget the 3D effect after the first five minutes. I prefer to see movies in 2D in fact, as 3D movies are too dark after the light is passed through the glasses. Not excited about it at all, unless they make a hologram 360 degree display somehow. Oh,and the images should be solid so you can touch Cameron Diaz or push an annoying person in front of a car inside the movie. :)
As a developer I'd like to note that a game can only truly show the potential of the console if it is written exclusively for that console. Cross platform development usually sacrifice a lot of horsepower to make the game easier and cheaper to port, rather than optimizing it for just one console. This is especially true in the case of PS3 vs Xbox 360 since the consoles has quite different strengths. For example, xbox 360 has more memory while the PS3 has a great multicore CPU.
Its nice with some iPhone game reviews, its almost impossible to find the good games on your own as there are about 95% homemade garbage games in iTunes. The feature is too shallow though, I wish Gamespot would give this platform more attention.
