Is it just me, or has there not been many good films out recently? Over the last year, the only films of note (imo) were Wallace and Gromit, King Kong and maybe War of the Worlds. Star Wars Ep 3 at a stretch, but it was really nothing special (again imo) Even looking into 2006, I can only think of 3. X Men 3, Spiderman 3 and V for Vendetta, out on Friday. Maybe, its just me, being more critical and unforgiving than I used to, but nothing much has really attracted me of late.

Bought Day of Defeat of steam today. Another WW2 FPS to play until CoD2 arrives,(any minute now :P) Only cost £12 so I thought I'd give it a try. Played it for an hour or two, its really tough, realism and all that, but its a lot of fun. I am improving (slowly :P) but still getting like 3 deaths to every kill. Meh, I'll get better. Also improved a lot at CSS now, (can actually play a bit :P)

After a good 40 mins trying to get the thing working, found the solution and I am online now. James, its not particularly easy to install, so good luck.

Nabbed this via a torrent last night. Haven't tried it yet but I'm not getting my hopes up after the disapointment of another movie based RTS ( I'm talking about Battle for Middle Earth if you haven't guessed.:P

Nearly got a one star rating now,:D took my time though. Gonna try out the wifi matches at a Pirate King friend of mine's house. I'll be ready to review it fairly then. Would have played it fully then, unlike a certain other review I read somewhere:roll:

Anyways, I'll get myself a dongle too soonish. One of Wifi Max ones as the official ones are way overpriced.

Also played a good few hours of CSS so I might review that too soon.

EDIT: Just a few cups left now, 3 I think. Must finish today though. It's a dignity thing.

I think I want a freeloader, but is it worth my while. There are a few US only GC titles that attract my attention.

Ordered Call of Duty 2 of eBay for 13 of those great british pounds. Gonna have to wait a few weeks as it will be shipped from Thailand.

Looking forward though as the first is one of favourite PC games of all time.

Ah well, back to CSS for time being. Haven't even played that much so at least I have a few weeks before CoD2 steals the thunder.
