These console developers sure are good at fooling people. How about just focus on what you've got, instead of constantly updating and reworking things are fine in the first place.
I decided to wait the day I first heard about the new systems. Hype is best when it's ignored, and the video game industry has become very good at convincing people they 'need' things they really don't.
Long answer: Not really. There is already a way to watch things happen on a television.
I do think some of these 'movie games' try way too hard, but whatever. I don't see a problem with people enjoying them. The Battlefields and Bioshocks and Grand Theft Autos and Starcrafts aren't going to go anywhere, there is room for everything these days.
