I have to say this is indeed a great game , i thought i would be put off via the linear exploring , but i was wrong , the game itself more than makes up for the lack of freedom , has some great music at times , beautiful to look at , a nice battle system that does take a bit of time to master but is great fun .

1. Thier exclusive games doesn't even deserve a look

2. It gets broken easily (YLOD) with no 3 year warranty like MS's

3. Playing on PSN is like playing with bots, no one talks, its like an extension of the single player experience

4. The only package that's worth the money is when it had backwards compatibility which has been discontinued and gamers believe they had an actual price cut when in actuality Sony just removed features.

5. I don't see anything coming from "S" this year, Killzone 2? FPS FPS

-most expensive console at retail

-worst multiplatform version of games

-the games that made PS1 and PS2 great (3rd party exclusives) are all on the 360 as well while 360 still gets 3rd party exclusives and timed exclusives and DLC.

- Lack of JRPGs

- mandatory installs (RE5 has a 5gb mandatory install) because of slow disc speed (2x blu ray drive)

- And as a moral issue, how does it feel to know ps3 owners for the first 2 years of this gen were used to advance a format war instead of a game console?

I don't think SW is the place where you'll get the best answer on this. All I can say is look at each respective game library, look at which console your friends own and if your like playing online ask yourself if you'd be willing to pat a yearly fee.

As far as the hardware reliability goes I wouldn't worry yourself too much. The latest 360 models aren't RRoD prone but they are an improvement and you'd be covered until the end of 2011 anyway.

All I can say is google is your friend. You probably aren't going to find the answer here.

Well if you are so blind then i pity you , i am a 39 yr gamer and i think i know what i am talking about when i say in this day and age a console like the 360 shouldnt be unreliable as it is , its no fun buying a new console and some good games and you only get to play them for a short while till the crappy hardware fails on you and then the same thing happens twice more , what does that say about the console ?? , forget all the " its better now crap " its unreliable period and the ps3 has far more going for it now and in the future its capable of so much more than the 360

Do yourself a big favour dont even waste your money on a xbox 360 its garbage the ps3 is a much better console and future games coming are going to be much much better and home will be a great experience when its released sometime this year , dont listen to the xbox muppets on here as its the most unreliable console evere made and i know i went through 3 of them :-(.

Forget all the BS about m$ warranty thats just to cover up how crap the console is its too loud its a joke paying to play online where i think the ps3 does a good job and it will be even better in the future and thats not very far off people will come on here and slag this post on what i have written but i rather do that and save you the hassle of getting a console and buying quite a few games and it breaks in a month or so ... please dont waste your good money !
