the game is amazing i love what they did for the series, the only thing its missing is in-game custom soundtracks but Sony confirmed in-game XMB this year so ill just be patient.

This game will not leave my ps3 until mgs4 (maybe vegas 2 if its not another horrid port)

i dont seemed to be bothered by the no retry like most people, every intersection has an event. If i fail one there is another right around the bend. no retry = no loading = good

I doubt Jak4 will ever come around. In one of the making of videos for uncharted the president of Naughty Dog said something along the lines of.

Crash Bandicoot was PSone's trilogy (yes there was crash games on ps2 but it was done by vivendi not naughty dog)

Jak and Daxter was PS2's trilogy

Uncharted is PS3's trilogy (two more amazing games!)

So my guess is jak is done but i could just be wrong

yes without a doubt buy it.

The gameplay is stealth but not hardcore stealth like the splinter cell series. If you get caught you can fight your way out easily. The story in the series is amazing, though MGS2 confused many people. If i were you and you were serious about getting 4 you should play through the old ones or just find a site that will provide a good background on the story because 4 is all about closing the story and tieing up loose ends that hae been leaving fans hanging. And MGO was awesome on the ps2 so now that they are bringing it back you will have plenty of fun online after your done the game.

I am looking to get a nice size LCD tv, like a 27'' at about 720p ( would love to go to 1080p but 99% of games are only 720p so i'll save a few bucks)

But being a poor college student im trying to figure when i can get the cheapest deals and where. I was thinking around the SuperBowl because in the past there has beensome really good deals around that time

Yea Activision is really pissing me off right now. I came up with three reasons why GH3 should be used for Rock Band

1. the Guitar Hero 3 guitar already works fine on 360 so wtf why not ps3?

2. They said that they would possibly loose sales but the only way to get the GH3 guitar is to get the DAMN game so how the hell would they loose money... i smell jealously they also complained that making a patch is a pain in the ass for other companies periphals to work... get off your lazy ass and make it work, and who cares if RB guitar works with GH im too busy playing RB anyway

3. This D!CK move by activision will def hurt the GH franchise....i admit not playing the game right now will not hurt them cause they already have my 100 bucks but say goodbye to purchasing DL content and no GH4,5, etc..

So Activision has no real excuse not to let the patch through except jealous and fear that GH will be over knocked down a peg and Rock Band will be on top of the music game genre.

So as of now im Boycotting the game until the patch is released, then maybe ill say im sorry for bad mouthing them, maybe

it says on the back of the box that it has headset compatibility.

but ive tried every mode online with my buddy and we cant figure out how to use a headset...we are both using the ps2 logitech headset. im hopeing we are retarded and just cant figure it out but i have a feeling the headset has to be a bluetooth..

if anyone has any ideas or solutions please help

im using the logitech usb one and no matter what i try to think of the headset just doesnt work.

i was just thinking instead of everyone thinking guitar hero3 guitars would work with the past games.

wouldnt it make more sense if rock bands guitars work because in the old games harmonix made the periphals, and harmonix is making rock band.

Red octane = software ..... Harmonix = hardware .... right? granted the coding for the guitar probably came from red octane but im curious why no-one asked if rock band's worked
