The only scary bits were when you came across a corpse that suddenly comes to life with a scream and jumps at you.
Remember that bit in Hephaestus where you go into that long room, the lights go out twice with sounds of laughter, and when you go back to the start of the room(as the door up ahead was locked) the corpses scream and leap at you. That bit got me good.

That part didn't really scare me much, but I did get to the point where I didn't like going past a "corpse" because they started jumping up at you somewhat often after that. Moreso from the annoyance of having to kill yet more slicers, and these ones seemingly dead before you walk past them. There was a small "wtf" moment there when the lights go off and then come back on and the corpse I was about to loot was missing. :P
If I hadn't seen that part before coming across the one that pops up behind the casket in the morgue in the medical pavilion, that probably would have made me jump.
I'd have to say Bethesda. Bioware does make excellent games, but I've never clocked the amount of hours in their games like I have in Morrowind and Oblivion. The sandbox elements of gameplay are more important to me than story in a lot of ways.
A lot of that depends on how much you explore. You could probably blow through the game in 12 or so hours if you just follow the arrow and complete the goals as they come up. It took me closer to 20 or so on hard both times, but I like to explore every area of the map, find the various pickups, weapon upgrade stations, etc.
I've been buying a lot of PS2 games since I got my PS3. There's a few other games I'd like to get soon, but I need to play through some of these first.
In the last month or so I've bought:
Shadow of the Colussus
Champions: Return to Arms
The first three Rachet and Clank games
Tomb Raider Anniversary
FFXII
Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance
LOTR: TT
So far, Champions of Norrath. I don't care a whole lot for JRPGs like I used to. FFXII seems to be fairly good from what little I've played it. I really like the combat changes for the game. It manages to capture the feel of playing in an MMO type group somewhat.
If you're counting hybrids, it would be Deus Ex. There's some annoying changes from the PC version, but it's still a great game on the PS2.
KOTOR, Morrowind GOTY, and Jade Empire are all great. Fable is also good, but a bit on the short side.
I've heard the Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance games are great, but haven't played them yet. I recently put them in one of my "to play" piles, though.
Pre-ordered at Gamestop, I'll pick it up after school.Trickshot771
Same here, except it'll be after work instead of school.
I seem to have lost my "good taste" emblem. My overall Gamespot score is 8.7
What percentage of games do you need to get one of those system emblems?
