The gameplay reminded me quite a bit of Deus Ex and System Shock 2. Though that's probably no real surprise. That was a familiarity I enjoyed quite a bit.

The game was a lot better looking than I was expecting. Rapture was a beautiful city. The art direction was really well done. Seeing what was possible gameplay wise from the video at the end and the Gamespot E3 presentation looks to be a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to this game.

GW is really the only worthwhile freebie game worth mentioning. Though it's not really an MMO in the vein of WoW and the like. AO also seems to be good. You can play the basic game, and I think one or two of the expansions for free now.

Most of the others are Korean grindfests from what I've seen. And a lot of them have items you purchase with real money in place of charging monthly fees.

Dead Rising. It really should have been a lot more. The best portion of the game was in the demo.

I still play plenty of older games. Though, not as much as I would like. For me it's more a matter of time. Between work, school, and other things going on, I don't have a lot of time for gaming anymore. Most of what little time I do have goes to more recent additions to the various piles.

Graphics really don't matter to me as long as the game is fun. Though, in some cases, they can give me a headache. This is mainly the case with some older shooters. Especially Wolfenstein 3D.

I have been playing through some of my older favorites again when they're released on Live Arcade. I've been considering getting a Wii for the VC, too.

Bioshock is a must own for me, but I'll be picking up Two Worlds, as well.

Yep. I don't own that many PS3 games yet, and there's not a lot coming anytime soon that I'm especially interested in. There's a few titles I'll likely pick up, but not that many. Mostly what I use my PS3 for is a Blu-Ray player and PS2 games.

I never really got into the PS2 last gen, outside of a handful of games. Most of what I was interested in was on the Xbox, so I'm going back through and trying to find some PS2 games that I skipped over last time.

I own:

Resistance Fall of Man

Ridge Racer 7

Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom (not quite as bad as I was expecting)

Most of the other games that I'm interested in that are out right now are games I already owned for the 360, like Oblivion, R6V, the Darkness, etc.

Since the mid-1990s, I've been mostly a PC gamer. A few years back, I decided to go with console gaming to cut back on the cost of keeping my computer up to date for the latest games*. The Xbox had far more of the titles I was interested in playing on the PC, so I went with it. That's mostly been the case for the 360, as well. I did eventually pick up a PS3, but most of the games that interest me will still be coming out on the 360, or will be multiplatform.

*And yet, I still upgraded, anyway. And even with stacks of console games to play, I seem to find myself playing on the PC all the time. :p
