consoles are about GAMES, something 360 "has the edge" on ps3 to say the very least.paullywogexactly. also, why do people brag that the PS3 has Blu-Ray? Last time I checked, I buy my video game systems to play games, not watch movies.
[QUOTE="jjr10"]1985? I'd say the've been hitting it for a long time.Arkk_AngelThat's what I was going to say. Nintendo has been in the video game market much longer than its competitors. I think Nintendo has long enough legs to be making strides all the time. It sure is making some "strides" with the Wii now.
I cant argue that the classics were great because they were, but ever since the Gamecube Nintendo hasnt been striding as much as they have been stopping to take a break, meaning that they do a great job at one time, and a horrible job during the other.
the Wii does sell a lot of consoles but that is b/c like every old family and retirement home in america has one thinking it will get them in shape. 4 of my aunts' have bought wiis for their families but none of them play it all that much. I have not bought a Wii game since Wii Fit came out and that was b/c my mom wanted it. There have not been many good games coming out on Wii lately and it has kept me on my 360. I've bought like 5 360 games since my last Wii game and there are still 5 or so more i want to get. Only Wii game i'm considering getting is SSBB and i will prob buy my sister the new animal crossing one.
they really do need to come out w/ a good new game (ZELDA?!) Dawq902
i have to agree, ever since Ive bought my Xbox, I think Ive purchased 1 Wii game, and I barley put 4 hours of play time into it.
