I've had an xbox 360 since launch and havent had a single problem with it. And i wouldn't recommend buying a ps3 just yet...price drop seems to be coming soon and theres only like 1 exceptional game: Motorstorm. No point playing any others cause of 360s online service ( maybe Resistance:FOM). Just got a PS3 myself and I'm just waiting on games worth buying to be released.
Just do an autosave before every group of enemies and reload if you get messed up, by doing this I was able to breeze through the game killing every single person, even large groups. Also use the auto key for medkits and bandages. Hell I even use a gamepad to play :P it's not that hard.
Flying around and skyding was an important part of the last GTA and changed the way the series is played. By removing planes for such an insignificant occurence, all they're doing is allowing the population of gamers to become more easily offended. People need to stop caring about people they don't know, tons of people die every day.
It's pointless to take out certain parts in games that could be used by a person to reinact killings, especially when the game is about killing ANYONE you want to. If the game had a mission where you crash a plane into a building then taking out that mission would be a smart decision. This really will effect the gameplay for me.
Go look at the video of Home: the online system for ps3 coming in a year or so, and Little Big Planet. Then curl up in a tight ball and cry until they are released :twisted:
I find console games to be way better if played on a monitor. You won't get any random lame glitches that prevent you from playing and also the patches are all auto download when you launch the games on console. Another pro of console gaming is the games run perfectly no slowdown or glitchiness it's always a highly sensual experience. just my opinion :)
I use a saitek dual analog gamepad to play shooters like half life deathmatch and BF2 online and I always come out on top. I also play MMOs using a gamepad, I have carpal tunnel and I've learned to be equal to any mouse and keybaord user so don't bash gamepads!
In answer to your question: The wireless version of the 360 controller I bought and tried on my vista PC and it couldn't connect, I returned it for cash. The wired one might work.
It's like WoW but way better graphics, and actually enjoyable fighting. Also the evil monster pvp side is amazing! Best mmo I've ever played. I'm in the preorder beta. If you can run this on ultra high graphics like me, its a must buy.
