till I see no excuse to why they cant even produce a trailer or even a screenshot for the game. If it was Half life 3 then It would be fine but its Ep 3 so they aren't using a different engine or any advanced tech this time around. There's more to making a game than just the tech. A "Wii Gamer" of all people would know this seeing as the Wii basically is the teh equivelant of a lemon, i think it's emarassing that Nintendo can't even show us a single screenshot of Zelda Wii eventhough they consistantly assure us it's comming.[QUOTE="Wii_Gamer_277"][QUOTE="washd123"]

Call of Franchise 6: Yet another sequalcharrr1234When you release 4 CoD games in the space of 4 years you know you have a problem, they just use the name as a profit spinner and let the two compaies churn out slightly modified versions of the same basic game, it's like madden exept madden you can kind of see the point becuase it's a sports game and rosters change. Also their after market support and content on the Disk is a joke, they are doing DLC at the same time as the actual game.
They gave us the orange box in 2007 accross 3 formats, i wouldn't exactly call that "Complacent". Infact the only thing they have done is annouce L4D 2 within a year, which is ironic since people were compaining about HL2 games coming too slowly. Yeah, that's hilarious. Honestly i don't think VALVE have put s foot wrong, it's scary actually, they continue to support L4D having added tons too it already. They give us free and actually pretty large updates for TF2 ever few months. Hell they even partner with Nvidia sometimes and give us underrated games like HL2; DM free of charge.[QUOTE="BoloTheGreat"][QUOTE="NielsNL"]
Lots of companies that at some point produced products of very high quality in a consistent manner built up a very loyal fanbase as a result. This loyalty makes such companies complacent at some point; they think they can get away with anything. This is something that starts out minor, but becomes progressively worse. These companies, if they're not careful, succumb to their own succes. Valve has made decisions over the last two to three years that give me the idea this applies to them. Let's hope they realizethis themselves soon enough and they start delivering again like they used to.

I own both systems, and I gotta say, the PS3 really lives up to the glory that the Wii is.
What it doesn't have in games, it makes up for in graphics. What it doesn't have in innovation (Motion controls comparable to the Wii) it makes up for with games like Flower.
On my Wii, I can play Majora's Mask and Metroid Prime Trilogy, on my PS3 I can play Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy VII.
It works out great, because with the two of them I can download old games from every generation, both the Sega and Nintendo games AND the PS1 games.
If you guys don't have a PS3 and a Wii, you really should give it a shot, because they make a great combo.TheElfChild
ORLY? So im we are not counting multiplats now x.x
You can't argue with me that the Wii doesn't have more games. I can argue the PS3 overall has more QUALITY games.I own both systems, and I gotta say, the PS3 really lives up to the glory that the Wii is.
