Yeah, I don't really understand this recent fascination with Kid Icarus.

And you know if they revived it, it would play NOTHING like the NES game. And judging by Smash bros. it won't look like any of it either.

But hey, any new-ish franchise from Nintendo is welcome.

Though I also want to point out, I was in fact dissapointed in Nintendo's E3 show

Animal Crossing: City folk doesn't look much different than the DS version.

Its reminds me of Mario Kart Wii being a big-brother to the DS one, but with a new peripheral.

I was also hoping they would have shown something by Retro, or a franchise that truely was new; that really takes advantage of the Wii-mote. I expect a lot from Nintendo, and I expect them to do new things.

Say what you will, but the ball wasn't in Nintendo's court this year

It was Sony who came into this with a bleak outlook. It was Sony who needed to show something that would prove they were still going to be a player. And even though they showed many game clips, they did not show anything new to change that position.

We know Nintendo is safe financially, and we know they have big 1st party games behind doors, and we know 3rd parties are going to follow the sales. Wii Sports Resort/Wii Motion Plus, is going to be the biggest seller next year, and it was a totally fresh and new announcement.

And despite what transpired this E3, it's Sony and their fans who are going to be hurting come a year from now.

I think it's just as lame as targetting "boy gamers" I just want a game that's fun

Nintendo games tend to attract everyone

and I'm sure there are quite a few others

[QUOTE="Boltybolt"]You should have seen the Democrats when Bush got re-electedLidve

HAHA

Yes, but the Democrats got the last laugh, when the Republicans destroyed their party reputation and lost the congress, and soon the presidency

Sony probably didn't even know about it until today

SE kept Japan safe for Sony, to show good will. Though it was hardly a great gesture considering the 360 is dead there.
