What amI supposed to do with those skulls in halo3. I tried just picking it up but I still didnt get the achivement that didnt work, then I brought it to the end of the level then I had to drop it to get in the pelican. I tried do it on a level where I didnt have to drop it and that still didnt work please someone please tell me what am I supposed to do with theys pain in the ass skulls.

what are you supposed to do with the skulls when i pick it up i have to keep dropping it to use my weapon, am i supposed to hold it till the end of the chapter or do i press a button to claim it as the hint says.
