I guy I work with has a launch Xbox he won in the Mountain Dew win it before you can buy it contest. He actually had his 360 about a week prior to they went on sale.

Anyhoo, he took the top off his 360 and has it set up like that (horizontally) allowing the heat to escape completely. Looks a little odd, but it is a launch system and stills rocks strong.

Just found that interesting.

If you think aboutsimplephysics, this is the best way to place your xbox. I have my LAUNCH Xbox 360 vertical and it has been rockin' fine since day 1.

Heat RISES. If you place your Xbox horizontal that heat builds faster under the horizontal cover (or top side) of the Xbox. the vent holes are near the left and right edges, away from the major heat sources. The fan simply cannot draw the heat out effectively.

If you stand it vertically, the heat escapes through the ventilation holes at the end (or top)and more rapidly cools the Xbox.

Now, that having been said, vertically standing your Xbox will NOT rid the unit of the RROD,but it only increases your chances of survivability.

Why can't I find all of these great PSP titles to download I keep reading about when I go to the PlayStation store? People keep asking each other about downloading Resident Evil and others, when I visit the store I see a Medal of Honor game, a few other crappy games, but no *major* titles, am I looking in the wrong place???

Help without making me feel like an inbred mongoloid who eats toenail shavings would be appreciated... sorry to all of you cousin loving, chromosome lacking, toenail munchers.

I don't think you'll see a PSP 2 for a few years yet. I'm thinking Sony is "phasing" us into all digital entertainment with the PSP brand.

1st came digital on UMD...

2nd comes PSP Go, essentially a PSP without UMD able to play digital downloads (probably some of which are current UMD titles as well as some PS1 titles)

Future will bring us the PSP 2 (complete with at least 32-64 GB of digital storage, touch screen and a 2nd analog stick) and will support a complete digital library of past, current and future PS1 / PS2 / PSP titles

Sony isn't about to release a PSP 2 without letting the current PSP and the PSP Go run their cycle in the market.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't have a psp, but have been thinking about it. My question is, will the current psp be able to download and play games that are released via download after Oct 1? I mean, I don't understand what the deal is with this "psp go". Why cant I just slap a 16 GB memory stick duo in a current psp and download and play all these future downloads?

The units, as far as i can tell, have the exact same layout, buttons, etc. The only difference is the umd drive isn't it?

Just wondered, thanks.

Until someone freaking helps me out. With all the time spent on this board between people asking how much stuff costs and is worth in trade value, it would be nice if a person would actually help another human being.

I get answers like yes you can, go download it. NOT HELPING.

No matter how many times I download the GRAW 2 Throwback packs I cannot access them. When I download the weapons pack, it shows up on the campaign / options / downloadable content menu and is set to 'on' and those weapons show up in gameplay.

HOW DO I PLAY THESE FREAKING THROWBACK MAPS??? They are on my HD, but when I try to find them in game I CANNOT ?!?!?!

Losing my mind here, about to take a hostage!!! (just kidding) but this is frustrating as h*ll.

Thanks,

BN

I am having a problem with DLC for GRAW 2.

Can I download the throwback packs prior to playing the game for the 1st time and access the downloads from my game menu

OR

do I have to put thegame disc in, load it, save it, THEN download the throwback packs?

Simple question, someone please answer with something other than 1 word, thanks.
