EvE is not the game for you, Kaelken, and that's fine, but everything you've said dramatically highlights the fact that you have practically zero clue about the game and how it works.

It's also the polar opposite of intelligent to criticize one of the precious few MMOs that does actually innovate of failing to innovate.

Having seen you make a fool of yourself trolling several other threads with your nearsighted and erroneous opinions, I'll just conclude you're arguing here in order to make up for some deep-rooted psychological inadequacy. I hope it works out for you. :)

[QUOTE="Kaelken"]

I laughed at this game

When I found out you can't fly with a joystick

The really, really sad, pathetic, tragic part is....Kaelken

...that you pan EvE just because it isn't exactly what you want

YES! Exactly! My whole point right there

Why settle for less?

But yeah there is a downside to it, like kurt said it, I wish I was like you; easily amused.

So when you find a game you don't personally like, you consider it "really really sad, pathetic and tragic"? You must spend a lot of your time depressed. :(

Also, people don't play EvE because they're "easily amused". It's one of the least accessible games ever made and it involves tactics and co-ordination, not just lining up your ship and going "pew pew!" with your joystick.

...that you pan EvE just because it isn't exactly what you want, when over 300,000 subscribers obviously think otherwise. Sounds like you want to play something like the upcoming joystick-controlled twitch-combat space MMO Jumpgate Evolution, although I expect you'll find a million faults with that too.

Yeah I just skimmed through your review and I can say with 99.99999% certainty there is not an MMO out there you'll like.

Hmmm... No I didn't. Maybe I should reinstall it. I only played up until I unlocked the first set of achievements. :?

You guys have to be kidding.... I used the DVD as a coaster after half an hour. The only thing it has going for it is it's graphics (which are admittedly outstanding).

Yeah it was an interesting idea but wasn't well developed enough to offer any real longevity.

Been using Windows 7 for the last few months.

It's better than XP and leaves the laughable Vista in the dust.

Windows 7 > XP > Windows 3.1 > Vista
