@gilldominic Why would you want a console that imposes these horrible features on people, to sell well?

That would send the message to corporations, that it's okay to do these things to people.

You really want to have to register your friends name with Microsoft, before you can lend them a game?

You really think it's okay to tell people without high speed internet in their homes, that they shouldn't be allowed to play video games ?

Really?

"Sony has boosted internal sales projections for the PlayStation 4 after claiming the system was received favorably following the company's press briefing Monday evening."

--------------------

"Claiming" the system was received favorably?

The whole world saw with their own eyes and ears, that it was received favorably. What is this "claiming" business.?

So, I remember a few years ago, one of those morning news shows, gave a huge group of underprivileged kids Christmas presents. A lot of them got an Xbox 360.

I guess they won't be able to do that with the Xbox One. I'm pretty sure none of those families had high speed internet in their homes.

"Fortunately there is a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity; it's called Playstation 4,"

So . . . people in the military, people in low income neighborhoods, people who live in areas where the internet goes down, or has no internet, people in countries where household internet isn't very common, people who have low download caps from their isp, etc. . . . NONE of those people should get an Xbox One?

Microsoft should just shut up now. They make it worse every time they open their mouths

@FlyinBrian35 You're a fan of a console that is trying to strip people of their rights?

You need to rethink your entire life.

"We are not the cause of these problems and should not be punished for them. Microsoft hasn't learned this simple rule. Sony has. And that's the biggest difference heading into the next generation."

None of this matters

You would have to be a fool to pick the X1 at this point.

Xbox fanatics say, "Damn, we can't defend X1 anymore, and there's nothing to left to bash Sony with. What do we do? I got it, let's pretend that Sony doesn't have any good games, even though the audience was cheering for them. It might work"

Xbox fanatics are trying to ride a horse with no legs. Let it go. It's over.
