Why do people feel the need to post gaming related crap in a non gaming forum?

If I can, I name them something Tolkien-esque. Sorenah Ironarrow is my Guild Wars ranger name. Another is Something Of The Spear. 'Something' isn't the name, I just forgot.

That would be a ridiculous and obsessive amount of work to keep an emblem. Heck, if they went through that much time and effort, they deserve it. ;)

No. Some of us such as my self keep things like our brith day hidden for a reason. I would not want an Emblem for my brith day as that would flat out tell people when my birth day is. Plus Temp Emblems tend to upset many users.fastesttruck

I don't think those are major issues. There has to be a primary database with all of the user data in it somewhere. The emblem would just link to those users that had public birthday flagged in the database. Depending on how they have coded the site, it is definitely possible, it just might not be practical! ;)

I would have to imagine that it can't be programed and would require staff to search all users on a daily basis to hand them out, but then again I am not a website coder and don't really know exactly.

EDIT: just remembered that not everyone has there birthday visible on there profile, this would cause even more work to take those people off of the emblem list for the day, so I have to retract my previos statement and say I don't think it would work and can't offer my support.
