When I awoke today I was considering buying a Wii for a specific game I have wanted for some time now. I was really tight in money so I wasn't sure if I should, unless Nintendo releases/ announces new titles soon ( I don't trust them very much, why buy a system with no games?)

When I looked at my desk I saw a new issue of Play Magazine that I had not yet read, I opened it, and read the first line out loud. "Nintendo has fallen of the reserve." I was confused at what this meant, so I read on. In the article the main editor stated that he had been waiting to see what Nintendo was going to announce in their version of gamersday or whatever. He said that he had gone to all the press conferences for all the companies (ie Sega, Sony, Microsoft , Ubisoft , Namco, and so on) and they all seem to have alot of games that they are going to announce to the public soon.

He said that once he had reached Nintendo, it was a different story all together. Nintendo had no new plans or games that they were showing for the entire year, and stranger yet had nothing to say about all the games that are being waited on (ie SMASH Brothers brawl.) This came as a bitter disappointment, until Reggie took the stage to announce that Nintendo had a new audience that they wanted to appeal to, not the casual gamer anymore. He said now Nintendo wants to please the very casual gamer.

The editor of the magazine said that this was very disappointing to him, and he thinks that Nintendo has changed into a new company altogether. That it was like a episode of the twilight zone when Redge said he'd never forget the hard core gamers as he told them of their new plans.
