Just ordered a 360 HDD....

So I took Microsoft up on their offer of a 20gb HDD and 3 months of live for $30. 20gb is as small as they come, I know, but I just really need more room for game saves and I want to install GTAIV to the HDD so it will stop freezing. I think size-wize the HDD will work out just fine.

Now here's hoping I can delete the new Xbox Experience from my memory unit and put it on the HDD instead.

What I got for Christmas, starting school and Xbox LIVE situation.

Hello everyone! Haven't posted a new blog in a long while. I'll try to do this stuff in the right timeline order. :P

Christmas!

Here is what I got:

An Xbox 360 Arcade Bundle (With Sega Superstars Tennis and the Five Arcade Game Disc)

A 12 inch blue Spartan

An Elite Combat Soldier figure

Prince of Persia Limited Edition (360)

Halo Five Disc Soundtrack set

Dead Rising (360)

Stuntman Ignition (360)

Prey Collector's Edition (360)

Frontlines Fuel of War (360)

A big bag of Tootsie Rolls

Nightmare (From the Soul Calibur series) figure

And some other things that I can't really remember at this very moment. (I also bought GTAIV (360) and FlatOut Ultimate Carnage (360) before Christmas.)

Anyway, on Christmas night I was feeling really sick and it turns out it was some of the ham I ate causing it. Ended up feeling horrible for two days then.

Happy New Year! Nothing special happened for me. Just another year. :P

So I've been playing my 360 quite a bit (Although not as long as I was able to play Gamecube, DS or PSP though) but not as much as I hoped I could be playing it. xD

So I got my internet set up to my 360 now, but really the only game with players online is GTAIV. No problems there, but the problem lies with GTAIV. I think I have a bad disc. In online and offline play, my game will freeze about every 15 minutes.

If anyone wants to do FlatOut, GTA, Frontlines, Prey or anything let me know. But I can't make any promises about my GTAIV connection. It's really annoying and I may even try to get another copy and see how that one will work.

Starting school again today and just thought I'd update you guys on what's going on around here. If you want me to add you as a friend, post your gamertag.

Mine is: XRogueFoxX

Hope you all are feeling well and getting in plenty of gaming time!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! Last blog post for a while...

Merry Christmas Eve Eve everyone! :D GOt your shopping done? Got the family together? Tree decorated? Are you prepared for Christmas?

I am! All the things I was expecting in the mail came and all of the gifts are wrapped. I'm done with school and all ready for Christmas.

It's a short blog and probably my last for a while. Going to be busy and I'm getting a 360. :P

Later everyone! Have a very Merry Christmas!

Finishing games and school. Not much going on otherwise.

How is everyone doing? Done Christmas shopping? Have a tree yet? Are you done with school? Finishing up any old games in anticipation for new ones? :D

That's what I'm doing. I'm trying to finish Space Invaders Extreme, Megaman Maverick Hunter X and Ridge Racer. (All on PSP) On the PS2, I would like to finish Battlefield 2 and Burnout 3, but I still haven't found my memory card with the saves on it. I don't really want to start from the beginning on them again. I have almost completed Battlefield 2 and I have a few hours into Burnout 3 (Didn't get far before I lost my card). Another thing keeping me from starting them over is the fact that I don't have another memory card. :P I should find mine soon enough though.

I am also excited because I started the last two weeks of school in 08! :D I am finishing up my courses and I'm looking forward to Christmas break.

FlatOut arrived and I've been sick....

So I finally got FlatOut Ultimate Carnage in the mail! :D Hooray! I actually got it quite some time ago, but I got sick the day before Thanksgiving and am still trying to recover. :P

Now that it is the first day of December, I am officially getting excited for Christmas. Time to break out the advent calendar and turn on the Christmas music! :D Only 25 days till my 360!

The bad news is, Thanksgiving break is over and I have school again. But it was expected. xD

Update on ordered 360 games.

Just a couple days after I ordered the game, GTAIV arrived in the mail. It was very well packaged, came with the map (Which was never mentioned in the sale) and the disc looks as if it has never been played. I have inspected the disc several times and there is not a single scratch on it!

As for FlatOut Ultimate Carnage, I've been checking the mail every day and it still hasn't arrived yet.

However, since I decided to make a blog about it taking so long I suppose it will come today. :P

Anyone else get any new games lately?

Ordered some 360 games....

Today I ordered two 360 games! :D In addition to my demo disc and Sega Superstars Tennis, I can now look forward to GTAIV and FlatOut Ultimate Carnage.

Some people may not reccomend it, but I'm used to the FlatOut style of controls/gameplay and it is one of the most fun racing series I have ever played.

As for GTAIV, it was one of the main reasons I wanted a 360 in the first place. :P It looks like so much fun.

I got them both for $42.16 total. FlatOut was brand new, GTAIV is used, but comes with everything.

I sense a very fun holiday season approaching....

Hooray 360!

So after a bunch of mind-changing and conversations with parents, it's confirmed that I will get a 360 for Christmas!! :D

Since it is quite expensive, I will also be doing some work for my folks that I would've originally been paid for.

So I am getting the 360 Arcade bundle with Sega Superstars Tennis. I am giving my money to my family and I'll let them buy me some games with it. I'm making a list of games I want and I'll let them pick which ones to buy. That way I'll still be slightly surprised on Christmas.

I can't wait! :D

Update: New cat, new games.

Hey everyone! I haven't been on GS much because of the amount of schoolwork I have been trying to get done, as well as several other projects.

Anyway, I got a cat! I have been wanting one for a very long time and finally got one. He is five months old, his name is Otis and he is really friendly.

As for new games, I bought Corvette (PS2) for 99 cents, as well as Motocross Mania 3 (PS2) for another 99 cents. I also bought Rayman (PS) so that I could test the PS1 I recently acquired and then finally, I bought Burnout 3 Takedown (PS2).

Due to how busy I have been, I have only been able to try Rayman and Corvette. Both have exceeded my expectations so far, which is always good. I can't wait to try Burnout 3 and plan on trying it sometime today or tomorrow.

In addition to the PS2 games, I printed out a Gamestop coupon for a buy two get one free offer. I bought two PSP games for $10 each and got another one free. (Obviously) Those games are Darkstalkers: The Chaos Tower, Death Jr and Ridge Racer.

For all the bad reviews and such out for Death Jr, I was taken totally by surprise. The game is awesome. It blends shooting and hack n slash with plenty of jumping and swinging, wall jumping, sliding and other things. I've never played a game quite like it before.

Anyway, just a small update. I've been getting more games than I have the time for, so I hope the tide changes soon. :D Even if it doesn't I'm not buying any more until I get these PLAYED. xD

Beat Shadow of the Colossus. Getting ready for the weekend!

So I beat Shadow of the Colossus, I won't spoil the ending, however.

In other news, I am looking forward to completing some past games as well as trying out Blowout. ames I need to finish include Battlefield 2 (PS2), Smuggler's Run (PS2) and hopefully Starsky and Hutch (PS2) with my bro.

Anyone have any big plans for this weekend?
