You know, if I were Henry Electronicarts or J. Garrett Activision, with all this preemptive buzz I'd use my financial power to buy the IP for pennies on the dollar, employ a handful of the dispersed staff, promise a speedy sequel and come out smelling like a rose.
But then again money overrides evil in my mind, so it'll never happen.
I'm sure it took quite a bit of unpayed overtime to make a world so rich and vivid.
Seeing as how Rhode Island has got 100% of the tab for ol' 38's production costs, I wonder if a week's interest earned from one of Curt Schillings's various investments or endorsements might cover payroll... you know... next month.
The non-mind numbing interview I would have rather had: "We made a modern game like DOOM except the monster closets have aliens instead of demonic monsters. And the graphics are prettier."
"We made the multiplayer like Splinter cell, except spies are now aliens and mercs are now marines."
