Really guys? You need to pay more attention. IGN America may review games highly, but IGN AU is more strict when it comes to reviewing games. Maybe you're just butthurt a Mario game got a higher score than a Sonic game...again.
Age: 13 Sex: No thanks, I'm dead. Top 5 Games this gen: 1. Super Smash Bros Brawl 2. Super Mario Galaxy 3. This is where the list ends. There's more I liked, but I can't figure out what I would rank them. Fav system: Wii, since I seem to be the only one here who doesn't let their's collect dust instead of buying games for it. Overall thoughts: This gen is pretty good. Not the best, but not the worst. The Xbox 360 dissapointed me, but the Wii and PS3 still get love from me. I guess I just got tired of shooters.
Sonic the Hedgehog - Give it a rest, Sega. Just kill off the blue blur and rid us of these horrible Sonic games. Guitar Hero/Rockband - I'm just not much of a fan of music rythm games. That, and that these two games are the only games people talk about in my state. Final Fantasy - I have nothing against the series, but when the main games hit number 14, combined with the crapload of ports and spinoffs, you know it's time to pack your bags. MySims - An embarrasment to Sim games everywhere. Call of Duty - Once again, I have nothing agaisnt the series, but come on. Even Zelda is more innovative than COD. Plus, a new COD game comes out every year. And oh boy, this year, we're getting MW2 and a crappy remake! Yay!

Super Mario Galaxy alone has better graphics than any Gamecube, PS2, or Xbox game.
except that mario platformers aren't pieces of crap like the recent sonic outings. If you actually play the Sonic games, you'd know how wrong you are. Again, Heroes beats Sunshine to a plup.
I own both 3D Sonic games and 3D Mario games, including Sonic Heroes and Super Mario Sunshine. Guess what? I liked Sunshine better. Does that mean I'm wrong, now?

Ya, but not as much as Galaxy. In my opinion, shooters don't deserve GOTY awards And in my opinion, Super Mario Overhyped didn't deserve those GOTY awards. Really, GTA, Halo, and all those other "edgy" games are what's hot now. That and the next installment in yet another franchise that's old as hell. San Andreas won awards. Halo won awards. Gears won awards. Those games are on fire. I might share your opinion on them not deserving those awards but there is no denying that they received them.
