People on system wars have a very strange method of hyping games. Flashy graphics and neat trailers seem to hook people into hyping games. But in truth, a game is only as good as the development team behind it. Had people know this when HS, for example, was being hyped, they would have been spared a lot of dissapointment. Bungie is an allstar dev team, and their not selling their game on flashy graphics, their selling it on the fact that it's an excellent game. Sure it isn't the flashiest, but Halo 3 will be AAA.agentfred
Well said. You can tell that the team at Bungie is extremely excited, and does very quality work by their website. They have a great squad, and it is obvious that they want the game to be perfect.

Agreed I mean Halo 3 looks nice and all but I really dont think they will add or change enough of the content to make it hi above a 9 Â Â Â Â Â The Halo formula is what makes the Halo games so great. Bungie keeps the formula strong in Halo 3, and adds some of the best features ever in a console fps game.
     With forge, all of the game variants, and saved films/screen shots, the multiplayer will have endless possibilities. Along with four player co-op, the ending to an epic story, and well polished graphics, this game will be the game to beat.
Halo 3 has much more variety online. With all of the different game varients, and now forge included, it is head and shoulders above gears multiplayer. As for campaign, I would say Halo 3 just because it will be completely refined, and finish an epic story.

Halo 3 is doing something totally new with the fps genre. Forge, and saved films/screenshots. And 8.5 is a good score for a game, and I don't think that that game is a flop. And just because you think that nintendo's big fps flopped has nothing to do with Halo at all.

Haha, you are ignorant. Halo 3 refines everything about Halo and Halo 2, adds tons of sweet features(Forge, saved films, tons of game variants), and finishes an epic story with amazing AI and graphics. I love how the Wii has last gen graphics, and absolutly no online play. Wow. Amazing.
