Random blog here, couldn't think of a title so I gave it the title of the song I'm posting the link to :P
Johnny Mathis - When a Child is Born
I didn't realise so many ppl had done a version of this song :P It's kind of fitting anyway seeing as Christmas isn't that far away and this is a Christmas song. I had no idea it was a Christmas song - it's not all that typical of one. It's hard for me to get my head around that fact coz the first time I ever heard it was at a funeral :?
Bryan Adams - Star
I just really like this song ever since I heard it on the movie "Jack" with Robin Williams. It was hard to find though - the song when I first started looking for it. The video I've linked to is a fan video of the movie coz I wanted something from the movie to go with the song :P
Ok sort of going with a children theme here :P I found this beautiful poem years ago and I suddenly remembered it the other day.
Please, Mum and Dad...
My hands are small. I don't mean to spill my milk.
My legs are short. Please slow down so I can keep up.
Don't slap my hands when I touch something bright and pretty. I don't understand.
Please look at me when I talk to you. It lets me know you are really listening.
My feelings are tender. Don't nag me all day. Let me make mistakes without feeling stupid.
Don't expect the bed I make or the picture I draw to be perfect. Just love me for trying.
Remember I am a child, not a small adult. Sometimes I don't understand what you're saying.
I love you so much. Please love me just for being myself. Not just for the things I do.

True Happiness Is Childs Play
I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8yr old again.
I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four-star restaurant. ****
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks.
I want to think M&Ms are better than money...because you can eat M&Ms.
I want to lie under a big Oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot Summer's day.
I want to return to a time when life was simple...when all you knew were colours, multiplication tables and nursery rhymes. But that didn't bother you because you didn't know what you didn't know - and you didn't care!
At 8, all you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.
I want to again think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and the loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow. (or sand :P works just as well)
So...here's my check book and my car-keys, my credit card bills and my 401k statements. I am officially resigning from adulthood.
If you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, cause...Tag! You're it!

I watched the latest ep of NCIS last night - Requiem  It was all about Gibbs and his daughter and someone connected to that  The opening scene was just amazing! I loved it! :D Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly put in brilliant performances and the desparation in Tony's voice in one scene got me misty eyed :P MW does pull off the drowned rat look really well :lol: (I'd post a pic of said yummyness but my comp won't let me save pics :( ) I don't like the new Kelly, I want the other girl back :P
Seeing as I can't post any pics from the ep, I'll post a link to a vid of the opening scene which is obviously a SPOILER :P The downside to the scene was something Tony did wrong - he didn't even make it look right and a lot of ppl have complained about it. I'm not going to be that nit picky, besides I was too busy perving on Michael  and :cry:ing and :lol:ing to care :P
Opening Scene
How could I laugh when it was such a tear jerker? Even in all the seriousness, Tony still found a way to joke about it all. Actually this happened throughout the ep but I'm concentrating on the opening scene.
Tony "Don't make me kiss you boss"
I'm currently watching an NCIS repeat on TV - Hiatus pt 2. Another  tear jerker, well the scenes that are coming up, and the one I just watched where Gibbs learns about 911  - Why must my shows do this to me? :? Tomorrow is looking up though :P:D I love this interagation scene  The look on McGee's face, that's for teasing Tony about acting like Gibbs :P Go Ziva! :D (Is it just me or does it sound like Tony says Cape Porn :P)
OMG Ziva, and Kate :cry: ...Tony as McGee and Abby  ...Go Gibbs! Give em what for!!...Nooo Gibbs, it's your team  Tony looks scared :? Abby breaks my heart in this scene :cry::cry::cry:
Semper Fi
*Hugs for all*
