If I was a sony fanboy, this would keep me from ever buying a Sony product again. No company should treat its loyal fans like this.May 5th, 2006 - SCEE CEO David Reeves: "It doesn't really matter what ships at launch." "The first five million are going to buy it, whatever it is, even it didn't have games,"
and he got it wrong
it was 5.5 million people

They look tempting, but I don't want to see any of those. Half the magic of this game is discovery, these vids will kill all that.I found some new videos.8)

Every time I read a review for this game, I get that tingling feeling I got when I would wonder as a child about how SMB3 was going to play. Or envisioning my hands around an N64 controller before they were released, dreaming of controlling Mario through the new 3D space.
I love this feeling and it's been a while since gaming gave that to me. I can't wait for this game!
1. You haven't played through SMG, so you don't know what it deserves.I think that if I was 10 years old again, I'd definitley think supermario deserved a AAA. Maybe Gamespot should have a "kids" section on their site with ratings geared towards the younger crowd that like playing games like warioware or cooking mama. And than when the little kids get older they can move towards the kinds of games that are above kid's maturity.

2. I think your into video games for the wrong reason. Video games are meant to be fun whether that's killing Nazi's or Zombies or collecting stars.

a.k.a no. Common sense, more sales during the holidays.
Common sense says you have nowhere close to the amount of sales data tracking and years of marketing experience with their own product like Nintendo does. Maybe they are on to something.
