Go to Best buy with your credit card. Purchase an XBox 360. Take the new 360 out of the box, put the broken 360 back in said box, and the next day return it with an effective excuse (not that "it's broken" or they'll look at the unit itself.) They'll refund the charge on your card.

Can this be discussed in a legitimate way?  The 360 was hounded mercilessly by cows at launch.  We all remember it.  "Xflop"  "Xbox 1.5"  No matter what 360 owners said, the negative comments never seemed to stop.  Why then should the PS3 launch not be put in the same spotlight and held to the same critcism?   All I seem to read are comments telling people to give it time, and about what the future holds for PS3.  What makes it any different than the 360 launch?lespaul00

It's different because the PS3 launch was, as improbable it seemed a year ago, actually worse.

Hahaha, well - there's no accounting for taste.

The 360 had more critically acclaimed games at launch than the PS3 did, many more. Even using GR, the PS3 still doesn't have a 9.0+ game. This sets a record both on this site and GR for the longest a console has gone post-launch without getting a 9.0+ game..... so at least it set some sort of record.

DOA4, Kameo, PGR3, COD2, and PDZ all launched with the 360 (before, actually) and they all have higher scores than the PS3's highest scoring game today (not just PS3's games at launch.)

• 360 had no movie / tv show downloads
• no background downloading
• no download ques
• the brightest spot of xbox live arcade was UNO
• most of the demos stunk
• you still had to pay $59.99

...give PS3 time people.

Halo 2 isn't even on the PC yet, and Epic has already said they're not even working on Gears for the PC yet, saying only it'll come to the PC "eventually."

Probably more like 3 years.
