[QUOTE="BuldozerX"][QUOTE="Archangel3371"]It'd also be nice to see fewer of these same threads popping up constantly as well.Archangel3371I dont agree. I think people should speak about this until we get a official answer from Sony or Microsoft. This is a deal breaker for way to many.I'm not saying people shouldn't talk about it, I just don't think there needs to be a new thread made about the same topic when there are already threads debating the very topic at hand. Thats ok. But IGN and Gamespot makes a new head line each time someone mentions this in a interview.

Give it a few hours. Gamespot and IGN will probably pick it up and put it on their on their site, and whoooop; 500 +++ comments. They know they get lots of readers on this subject right now.I see someone read my link from the other thread concerning this topic. [QUOTE="BuldozerX"]Isnt software level just as bad? The difference is that they will earn more money from online passes and people not having to download everything.c_rake
Software-level implies its optional. Hardware implies its mandatory. Thus, if it's optional. that means we won't see every game be blocked by default, which should mean there will be plenty of publishers who decide not to use it.
Well, we just have to wait and see. I figure when they have this option and one starts doing it, the other publishers will follow like a bunch of sheep.[QUOTE="Planeforger"]This won't make much of a difference - the regulars of Primary Games Discussion will find a way to make it totally okay when Sony does it. :Pc_rake
I don't know... I don't think even Captain Sony himself could try spinning this into a positive.
Anyways -- I still doubt they'd go so far as to block used games on a hardware level.

So it`s official
But like many of you noticed when Eurogamer interviewed Yoshida, that the "used games are ok" statement was only talking around the subject without really confirming anything. I know many of you pre-ordered the PS4 after this statement. Feel free to cancell.
Isn`t the ability to sell, trade and buy used games one of the few reason that makes consoles stand out from the PC? Because for me it sounds like the new Xbox will be the same as a mid-spec PC with Steam, running with a Kinect and has more expensive games.
People will adapt all the way to digital only :(

[QUOTE="ristactionjakso"]yep.
The Wii U is starting to look better, all of the sudden.Castielyep.
Negative on both. Sony is still meandering on the stance and Wii U still suck balls.
I think its safe to say that we call leave the Wii U out of the discussion. Even if the Wii U support used games, its still a underpowered piss of crap hardware, and is no match against the powerfull consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
