Some decent ideas regarding possible future uses for Kinect.

One thing you have to keep in mind is that developers haven't been using Kinect for years, so you have to give them time to learn how to develop games for it.

The best games for 360 were not launch titles....same with PS3. They are games that came out a few years in after developers had time to learn the systems and how to work with them better. I'm sure the same thing will happen with Kinect.

I do agree that Kinect needs a controller. I have PS move and it's pretty great. Way better than wii. The limitations of Kinect are the lack of buttons and joystick. If MS came out with a controller for Kinect, it would blow PS Move out of the water because the Kinect device itself is way more advanced than the PS Eye camera. The combination would be amazing.

I'm also sure that the minds at MS have thought about the lack of movement due to no joystick....they're not brand new to the industry so they must have something up their sleeve. Either that or they just dont want to make those kind of games.

You don't really need to play the first one, but it's definitely worth it and will help understand the story behind Rapture a lot more. There are references to events and characters from the first game that you wont really understand otherwise. Also, the first game gives you a better introduction to Rapture than 2 does.

Anyone know why this is? My friends can hear my other friends even if they aren't on each other's lists, but I can't hear their friends even if we're in the same party unless I add them all to my friends list.

The problem with what you're saying is that ALL games should have no online achievements....that doesn't seem quite fair. Plenty of games have good online with great communities of players that years later, are still being played.

Do you think the developers who make crappy online play, think that their online is crappy? Of course not....so it's not like they would be like "Hmmmm well our online component sucks, so we should only do offline achievements." If they thought the online sucked, they wouldnt include online in the game.

There are many solutions to this...especially this simple solution:

Run the HDMI cable to the TV (HDMI carries audio signals as well). Then run RCA cables from the TV OUT to your surround receiver.
