@MigGui: It's one thing to change a few minor details; but this is a COMPLETELY different story. So much so that it could have been and SHOULD have been it's own show without using Halo IP. What's the point of it being called Halo if they are changing the character personalities, the story, the lore and the narrative to this extent?
@Baconstrip78: That's False equivalency. A vocal minority bullying actors doesn't represent the entirety of the fandom. Most of such times it's usually just trolls who isn't even part of the fandom, but just get kick out of bullying. And it certainly doesn't justify making mediocre adaptations. As a matter of fact I could say your blind anger and the need of "revenge" toward entirety of fandoms for the actions of minority stems from a similar mindset as those who bully people.
@MigGui: Of cause. Any adaptation that can only satisfy the casual audience but not the fans of the source material is a failed product. Because at that point you could just create an absolute mind numbing garbage and glue the name of a popular IP and say it's successful because they found an audience who like such mediocrity.
