no, that seems just about right, considering that vista typically doesn't perform as well as xp. crysis really is just a monster of a game thats not gonna be fully realized until the new gpu's come out next year

there was a review on anandtech.com, they went into a good bit of detail on performance of the chips vs intels chips and the compatibilities of the chips. AM2+ is suppose to offer more performance over AM2 and also have many more features built into it

the temps aren't bad at all for that high of an oc, I'm just wondering how many times you had to increase the voltage to keep it stable..

I have 4 gaming mice (2 G5's, a razer diamondback and an mx518 ) I really like the mice logitech makes, just feel right to me, I do like the optical sensor that razer has in their mice, extremely accurate, but I can't stand how they feel, too small if you have a bigger hand. all depends on personally preference though

surely you would want something a little bigger if youre gonna be playing games on it all day, 17" isn't exactly big.

the contrast ratio is very important if youre concerned about image quality, its the ratio of the brightest color and the darkest color that the monitor can produce

edit: forgot to mention a contrast ratio.. 500:1 is decent, but the higher you go the better

http://promotions.newegg.com/AMD/phenom/index.html

I wonder how this one compares to the Q6600.

LTZH

the majority of the tests I saw at anandtech.. the Phenom 9500 lost to the q6600 most of the time, some test were close, but I expected more from them

I found the razer to be less than comfortable if you have bigger hands, I personally use the g5, but I'm going to be getting an mx518, it has 2 thumb buttons instead of just one like the g5

it should only be a small dot in the middle, then you spread it around til its paper thin.. its only there to provide a better contact area for the hs/f
