Seems like your computer is not fully coming out of sleep mode. Vista for some reason struggles at using the sleep and hibernation functions. I had to stop my desktop from going to sleep or hibernating as it was causing all kinds of problems. I'm running Windows 7 currently and am able to put my computer to sleep and hibernate. In saying that I believe that it is a problem with the Vista kernel. Can you kill the processes that are taking up all of your system resources?

Ive have been wondering for awhile if should go multiple displays or stay with a 50 inch DLP screen at 1920x1080 resolution. I have never tried multiple display gaming so I wanted the opnions of people who have or had tried multiple display gaming. Thanks for future input.

Really it depends on what you want. The DLP is just going to make everything bigger, ie the larger display. Gaming on multiple displays will actually increase your field of view. I currently game on a TripleHead2Go at a 5040x1050 resolution. There is nothing like it. The only draw back to playing on multiple displays at high resolutions is that you have to have the hardware. For example, most people that play Crysis at maximum settings at a resoluiton of 1600x1200 more than likely will not be able to play it on maximum at a resolution of 5040x1050. My rig gets 30-40 fps on high. IMO I would go with multiple displays. If you have any questions about multiple display gaming feel free to pm me.

Depends, what do you use your laptop for? A way that you can try to cool your laptop down is to take the keyboard off and either a) blow out the mobo with a compressed air can or b) take a small vacuum to suck out all the dust and debris that has accumulated. The other thing is to attempt to clean out your vents on your laptop that allow your components to breath. Another thing that you can do to keep it cool is, if you leave your laptop on a desk while you use it and you can have it plugged in take the battery out. The battery typically contributes a lot to the heat.

650W would be enough? I just usually like to be sure.

More typically gives your power supply a bit of breathing room especially since, overtime, power supplies start to output less and less wattage.

so u suggest i stay with the 750W?

Since the 750W is only 130 dollars i would def stay with it. A drop in wattage will only net you a a few bucks unless you find a killer deal. Plus lets say for some reason he wants to upgrade his power supply and go into SLI with more hard drives. A bigger power supply allows for upgrades as well. Stick with the 750W.

Ive been running Window's 7 for about a month now and, no, it is not the beta but the full retail version. I got it through my school through a Microsoft Academic Alliance program. All I can say is WOW! So much better than Vista even though it is based on the same kernel. So in a nutshell, UPGRADE if you can. If the website doesn't help you can call Microsoft. Good luck if you call them battling the gauntlet of Indian tech support .

My mistake. The build looks good. One thing that I would look at is your video card. You can probably upgrade the 4859 to a 4890 for another 20 dollars. I saw one on Newegg.com for 149 last week. Overall for 750 I think the build is solid without me digging through Newegg.com and TigerDirect.com for better deals.

To be honest, I can't justify why you would upgrade your rig when the performance gains will be minimal over the rig in your sig.

Those card recommendations might be stretching the power supply a bit thin. I would upgrade the power supply, like UltimateGamer95 said, to something around 500 or greater. One of the problems with just skimping by on wattage is that if you add extra peripherals like DVD drives or even USB your going to push your power supply over and you computer could crash or worse yet you might fry your rig.
