COD4 8.5.

Plays like previous COD's but set in modern times. Flop.

[QUOTE="bluebrad1974"][QUOTE="wiiwillwiiwill"]so, how is the graphics, does it better than cod3?akuma303x
The graphics are fantastic. The biggest gripe that I have is the spawn system. Players can spawn anywhere on the map, so getting shot in the back by someone who just spawned 20 feet behind you is all too common. If they don't limit the area in which a team can spawn, the online in COD4 will be more annoying than fun.

They should limit the spawn area. And they should automatically spawn you in the area with more allies than enemy's. Or less of both period. Not right in the middle of the other team.

You guys have it the other way around. Infinity Ward has stated that they focus spawn points around your teammates, so you're rarely in the middle of nowhere. However, this technique has been used before and leads to SPAWN RAPING where one team keeps the other in one spawn area and just surrounds them so that they can't get out and respawn somewhere else. The online IS sometimes more annoying than fun when you're getting spawn raped by good players. Especially now that you get bonuses for kill streaks.

OR you could play Team Objective games, and not worry about spawning at all!

I ADORE this beta (preference is all that separates this from Halo 3's MP) but spawns can occasionally become an issue as they were in CoD2.

I see 360 owners attack the PS3 in saying that Resistance is the only "good" game for the PS3. I (as an Xbox + 360 owner) dont see what's wrong with playing one good game if you like it. I've been playing halo 2 on and off for two years and it hasn't gotten old (hint: I'm good at it AND i enjoy it). I've played tons of other games and still do but halo simply never loses its sheen for me.

If you like Resistance, go ahead and play it. If Resistance is such a fantastic game for the PS3, why stop playing it? If you can't enjoy it, then why is it so glorified in the first place?

I can only hope that one day this war might find its conclusion, and that we all may benefit from it.

Nope. My 360's worked great since launch. I'd like to point out how the PS2 was less than reliable in its launch (gamers on their sixth and seventh ps2), and i think the only reason why people care so much about this one is because of sites like this where unsatisfied people flock to complain.

Good song though lol.

I honestly dont see whats so great about shadowrun. The magic and stuff is interesting but the weapons/health system IMO is very unrewarding and many people just teleport around a lot to get the achievements. A rental at most IMO.

Juarez...well...not my kind of style so i'm simply not interested.

Achievements are...well... goals and feats that you can achieve. If you havent achieved a certain rank, then you havent gotten enough ranked pts or w/e. Its not supposed to accurately judge how good a person is overall. Its more of an experience kind of thing. You can play a game every day and not be any good, and you can rarely play and be great, but those are uncommon cases and usually people will generalize.

Here's what i dont get. You saw a CGI trailer of K2 and heard that they were spending lots of money on it after delaying ANY showing of the gameplay for years. PS3 Fanboys are basically guessing that this game will be the best game in the world, although history suggests otherwise.

So how can I, as a 360 owner, make any statement when the conditions of your question are based on blind faith

Many 360 games dont "lose" their exclusivity, they rather are released a half a year or more later on the PS3 because of the technical formatting and differences between the PS3 and 360.

The "exclusive" GTA IV is coming to the 360 as well as the PS3 on the same date. This was announced pretty early on-before anything of the gameplay was seen- so that they could have time to format both sides.

Just an honest Q. What games are out for PS3 that are currently separate from other consoles?
