@PartyGavinParty Yeah, I've been meaning to boot up my client and get it updated to see all the new jazz in the game. Great avatar btw. One among the fence!
@Crocodile3 Yeah, I think to an extent, Valve's version of free to play is one of the most fair free to play models, but, still, if you spend so $20-$30 on items for 200 hours of gameplay in either TF2 or Dota 2, that seems pretty fair. I mean, that's 20 cents an hour. However, Valve gives the option to never spend a single penny, and experience the full game without the incessant grinding of most other free to play models. Obviously, Dota takes time to get into, and Team Fortress 2 the guns and such change some mechanics, but it's far from free to play, pay to win, or unfair in anyway.
Probably will pick it up on a steam sale. The mechanics seem solid, but yeah, it looks pretty lacking. Oh well, Enemy Within looks fantastic, and that's being enveloped into an already phenomenal game.
@SoreThumbsBill Apparently, drinking caffeine right before sleeping actually improves the quality of sleep. So you have discovered something my friend.
@brokenapples Guy on the left is Chaun, one of the competitors from a chinese team in the tournament, no clue about the middle, guy on the right is obviously Gabe Newell, the God of PC gaming.
@FAIL_RETURNETH @CCGR_Pheonix @tomservo51 Fair enough. Civ 5 is a fickle game, yet it's so good I don't mind much. An hour, tops, of optimization is worth 120+ hours of solid game. I remember I couldn't turn aliasing on in that game for the longest time. Pretty annoying.
