Hey guys,

Just a quick question. It seems all these updates for my ps3 changes the aspect ratio for when I play ps2 games. I've tried to change the settings, but evidently I'm not changing the correct options. How do I get my ps2 games to stay on 16:9 aspect ratio. This is what I enjoy most. Right now it only gives me the option of full screen and 480p (on this setting the display is set in the middle of the screen and kind of scrunched. All I want is a wide screen image. Thanks in advance for your feedback guys.

I just hooked up my remote play with my psp and ps3. I realized that I can play my original PS games such as MGS and FF7 on my psp through remote play. The only problem is that the screen is shrunk and it isn't full screen. I've tried to change the settings to support a wider screen format, but no success. Am I missing something? I appreciate any feedback.

That's funny you mention that, because I did the same thing. The other day I decided to take the plunge and get a psp due to some of the great games out for it. I planned on picking up Crisis Core and saw Portable Ops for 20 bucks at Best Buy. When I got home I realized it was the Plus version. I really have no use for that game because I'd prefer to have the stand alone story version.

Hey guys,

I've heard conflicting reports about this and was hoping someone could set the record straight. I apologize if this has been mentioned somewhere else on the forums. I attempted to look this up elsewhere, but I am unable to find any info. Evidently there is a free Metal Gear Online Beta disc for those who preorder MGS4 starting April 1, 2008. How exactly does this work? Does it come bundled with MGS4? Also, does it matter where you preorder it from? Do you have to place the preorder after April 1 to qualify for the promotion? Will preorders prior to said date suffice? I was thinking about preordering this game from amazon, but on their forums there doesn't seem to be any definitive answer to this particular question. I guess I'm just hoping to get the most bang out of my buck. I appreciate any feedback.

Sounds lilke an interesting idea. Let's just hope it doesn't turn out like FF-X2. I don't know about you guys, but I wasn't very crazy about the girl power "hey look at Yuna in a mini skirt" theme. For the life of me I can'tunderstand how all of a sudden she turns into a pop singer from the last game. Seems to me that creators were just trying to milk the franchise. That's just my .02 at least. One game I would like to see made is a remake of FF7 on the PS3. I think a lot of people would really love to see that. Perhaps I'm just living in the past though. I don't know about you guys, but it seems lately I haven't really been into FF games the way I used to be. I own FF12 and played through it fora while, but for whatever reason I wasn't drawn to the story like past games. Perhaps I'm just getting older

thanks for the info. I don't normally buy game guides, i just figured for a game of this scale it would be nice to have a hard copy. Plus used guides are pretty cheap on half.com.
