Jeez man. I've put so many hours into some games' online. You don't like the quick, competitive drive that makes some games so addicting? Or what about the fact that it can practically never be the same since it's actually against REAL people? But I would agree co-op makes almost any game better.[QUOTE="CONMAN999PS"][QUOTE="nyc05"]
If the game has online co-op then I'll play that with my best gaming bud, but beyond that? Nope. I have no care or appreciation for online multiplayer.

I'm not a competitive gamer. When I play video games I just want to experience the game and the story by myself. That's the reason I started playing games in the first place.
Running around trying to get the most kills just doesn't appeal to me. I don't find it fun, appealing, addicting, or anything like that. Frankly, I find it lame. Especially considering that the few times I play online all I hear is fighting, arguing, flaming, racism, sexism, screaming, and threats against my family from a prepubescent little boy for getting a kill. That I can do without.
I'm glad you enjoy playing online, but I don't. I enjoy the single player experience, with the occasional co-op if available. Without those two elements, single player most specifically, I wouldn't even play games.
Ya man I completely respect your opinion. It's actually a cool concept because I'm pretty sure there are almost no people like you these days. I mean there are definitely people who prefer single player over multiplayer but I guess not too many people who have thrown online completely out the window. I could definitely do without the the arguing/racism/screaming/etc. But something about COD4 really made me want to play again and again to see if I could beat a certain squad or get a better K/D. Another part of online gaming that my guess is you absolutely hate is the endless ranking and reward system. That always makes me want to keep going. Maybe it's a small form of video game addiction but I just love it.
