LMFAO i tried using a gift card when i put money on it @ 7-11 and it didnt work regardless it wud not add funds to my wallet in account management. Myzz617

What gift card is this?

I used a Visa "MyTreat" Prepaid Visa card that came in denominations of $25 and $50 and it worked fine. I just turned on my PS3, inputted the information, deposited $20 into my account then waited for Sony to release the $1 they pinged and then put the rest in.

i went into the transaction managment and put the info in and it didnt work. what do i put in for cardholders name? i dont know what to put because when i registered the card online it didnt ask for a name and there isnt a name on the card unless i put wal mart. what do i do?. i appreciate the helpsnakeeater_12

You don't even have to do anything to the Prepaid Visa online.

Just input the account information onto the PS3, for the name just put anything, hell you could even put Jack Bauer and they wouldn't care.

As of now no. Who knows in the future they could bring them back but right now Sony is focussing hard for the PS3 to play PS3. Their moto is there 100+ million PS2 userbase will keep their PS2's and buy PS3s.

There are too many other games coming out this Fall/Winter that I'd rather buy than this. Maybe sometime next year when the price drops or something.

But is Playstation Life a Network update or something to do with Firmware? Firmware is usually Tues/Wednesday while Store updates are on Thursday~

get a 360 its got the best games, if you buy a PS3 it would be a waste of moneyfredyfish

Which ever system you end up buying it'll be fine, both are solid systems. Multi-plats aren't a problem since they both run the same on each system. Just figure out which exclusives you want to play and go from there.
