Simple answer to all this.

What's your PSN ID?

The thought of having 872 Trophies is a little odd is all. Also they were talking about being able to display trophies inside of HOME so how would that turn out =/

First off I'd like to start off by saying Trophies was one of the coolest updates for my PS3 thus far. It got me excited about replaying games as well as collecting.

But is it just me or are Trophies going to start getting ridiculous in the future? I know right now they are cool but what's going to happen in the future when someone has 453 Trophies or 842? The number seems incredibly high and imagine if they had trophy support in HOME what it'd look like.

So far only 3 games support Trophies with a total of about 70-80 to collect. Now with all the games coming out this fall/winter that number is going to rocket.

I'm no hating on the Trophy system I just find it strange once we start getting into the high hundreds low thousands.

Gambit System was a peice of garbage. With such high MP costs all I seemed to do in FFXII was just normal attacks. Horrible battle system. Bring back either Turnbased ala FFX or Realtime Turnbased like FFVII~

it dose improve the pop up rate of textures ingame and the load times are a few seconds faster. thats what i mean by flawless. and i have liquid cooling im my PS3 but thats besides the point. and this is a flawless easy way for someone to use as a reference to upgrade HDD.zeferU

It only improves the load times if your willing to buy a HDD with a higher RPM. If you bought a 5400 I sorely doubt the times would improve. Only with a 7200 can you see a difference and even then it's only a couple of seconds.

Hope this game turns out good, it is I think the first or one of the first JRPG exclusives for the PS3.

Nice game! But one thing I don't like is it looks semi turn-based. Enemies do nothing while you take time aiming at them. Hehe. You can't shoot while walking.skp_16

Eh I don't mind that. The game is more of an RPG than Action Adventure so the ability not to move while shooting is fine. It'd only annoy me if it was something like MGS4 that you couldn't move and shoot. That's why I find it hard to get excited about RE4 and RE5 =/

So I was downloading some game trailers onto my PS3 and I came upon 'Valkyria Chronicles'. The game looks pretty neat, RPG based game with an anime-esc animation and it's PS3 exclusive.

Game: Valkyria Chronicles
Publisher: Sega
Release Date: Nov 11th, 2008 (North American)
Story: Valkyria Chronicles combines strategy elements of conventional tactical role playing games with real-time action sequences. The game is set in a fictitious continent reminiscent of 1930s, Europe divided in two and ruled by the Empire and the Federation. The Empire has set its sights on invading a small neutral country called Gallia, which is situated in the middle of the two great empires. The game follows a hero named Welkin and his fellow soldiers of the Federation's 7th Platoon that are fighting against the Empire, who is intent on unifying the continent under its power.

Built upon the new "CANVAS" engine, Valkyria Chronicles' ground-breaking 3D graphics resemble a watercolor painting in motion. Gameplay is centered around a new type of tactical battle concept. Known as "BLiTZ," this battle concept gives players unique freedom to strategically move around the environment and attack enemies using real-time controls.

I've never played any of the past Valkyria games but this looks like a nice JRPG to play.

It's an overlooked game for the PS3 this year, probably going to wait for reviews then take a hard look at the game.

Seems like a generic guide to me. Regardless people still strip the screws it's common knowledge. There are only a few that haven't stripped at least 1 screw while getting it out.
