It's obvious SE is playing favorites, but the question of why, remains unclear.

I guess the PS3's install base wasn't where it needed to be, and I'm sure M$ paid for certain exclusives up this point.M$ was desperate to be the JRPG king this gen, especially with Sony leaving that door wide open. M$ saw that as the major reason they had not made Headway in Japan for both their consoles.

The install base of the 360 and PS3 are so close that at this point, it's better just to treat those install bases AS ONE Group, to maximize the profits. Companies can sell to 50 Million PS360 customers, or they can sell to half of that.

It only makes sense, and dollars.
