Does the info you type when you want to use your credit card match the general account info?
If they don't match I think it wont work.

What I basically want to know is this:
If I buy the american version of "Chrono Trigger" (might be called Chrono Cross, it's the game that came with a final in the same box), will it play on my european ps3?

I think it's very odd to talk about "european ps3's" though since I thought region-free meant... well... region free.nrseven

Yes, you'll be able to play PS3 games from USA on the Euro PS3.

Games are region free. However, Blu-Ray movies are not.

Na I got his point more as a. The Sixaxis will never have rumble. When we all know it will. Just a matter of when. MGS4 or Killzone 2 may be it. But I think it may be latter than that even. They went threw so much stuff to get it. And im sure they did for some reason. Eclipse83Lives

I'm sure it'll come, sooner or later. But I'm not very sure that it's a rumble-controller on the pics..

[QUOTE="BigNiceJohn"]

[QUOTE="-DirtySanchez-"]i see nothin that suggests they have rumblespazzx625

That's because rumble isn't communicated visually.....

I think his point was that the controller has no visual changes to suggest that anything is different. It still just says SIXAXIS.

Yeah, the PS2 controller says "DUALSHOCK2" where the PS3 one just says "SIXAXIS"..

I really hope you're right, because I want Home soon.. But I don't think you are.
From an interview published today: (gamesindustry.biz):

When do you intend to release Home to the public?

Well that's the interesting thing. One of the challenges that we have is to get over the mentality of Home being your typical product launch. In the past we'd make a game, put it on a disc and launch it in the shops. But this is so different. It's already out there in a closed beta and we're going to an open beta in the next couple of months and then it will be available on the Cross Media Bar soon after.

i think this game looks crap and i dont know want everyone is fuzzing aboutjackular666

If you don't like the game for some reason, that's fine. No game is loved by all..
But saying that it looks like crap is just BS. The game looks stunning, and that's not an opinion.

I think It was confirmed for Oct 14?Logan832

That's an old date, it most likely won't be out in a while yet.

In this document: Home Development Q&A (PDF) (published Wed 7th March 2007) they say:

Q: What is the timeline for rollout?
Closed Beta (appx. 15,000 users): April - August
Open Beta (appx. 50,000 users): August - October
Service Live (50,000+): October

We're halfway through September, and there is still no open beta, which means they're behind schedule.

In this interview from yesterday: ( Sony Chiefs on Web 2.0 and gaming ) they say:

Q: When is Home going to kick off?
Peter Edward: We're still in closed beta at the moment, and we're looking to escalate the numbers in a controlled fashion. I don't think there's any benefit from just opening the floodgates on day one and letting everybody in. We want to scale up the numbers so we can get feedback from the users and find out how they're using the service.

So by the sound of it they will have extensive open beta testing before launching Home.

In conclusion; Sony hasn't given us a release date recently. I think October is lost, Home will come later than that.
That's the closest to an exact date you'll get atm. =)

NOT TO MENTION OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS WHOM ALSO LOST THEIR LIVES FIGHTING FOR OUR FREEDOOM TILL THIS DAY..gamedudeorino

The American soldiers didnt die protecting anyone's freedom, they died occupying another country. Iraq and Afghanistan has suffered way more civilian casualties than USA have since (and including) 9/11.
So drop that bull****.

I saw those pics yesterday, and they do look great. Not just the graphics, but the whole artistic direction. I think the game looks much "cooler" than GT5, with the cathedral and the city streets

But looking better than GT5? I don't know.. Would be way too early to decide just from 5 screenshots, which may or may not be pre-rendered. And we don't know much about how the two final products will be technically in terms of screen resolution and framerate.

Plus, as people have said, exclusive titles usually take better advantage of the system than multiplats do.
