@Trickymaster: In defense of the fanbase this story has been officially a couple decades in the crafting at this point. If I'd been following this 20 years I'd kinda want to know how it ends before I or the author kicked the bucket.
@Daelusca: You my friend are very fucking correct. I forgot how glitchy The Wither is as I haven't been enticed to play it since about June/July. True indeed that game was a nightmare of glitches I don't even want to recount. I wouldn't have ranked it number one, but I can see why the fanboys have. Probably the best written game this year, story wise at least, but it certainly has it's shortcomings as well.
As far as MGSV, I straight up enjoyed that game more than Fallout 4. I won't bother pretending you're not right about it being repetitive, because you're very correct about that, but I enjoyed the repetition there a lot more than Fallout 4. I like the weapons in Metal Gear solid more, I enjoy spending GDP to research new weapons, etc. Fallout 4 just feels meh to me. 100's of rinse wash repeat "this settlement is under attack by raiders/ feral ghouls", lackluster crafting system, flawed settlement building system, and a half assed story just didn't do it for me. Like I said, I've got the platinum on that puppy, I picked it up and played it everyday from the time it came out until I got that trophy about a month later. Maybe it was the bitter taste that the final trophy I had to get, benevolent leader, left in my mouth. That trophy really highlighted how glitchy the game is to me, and took me days of sitting around to obtain. Once I got that and saw that platinum trophy ding, I was like **** this game. Hopefully DLC, and modders can bring some joy to it, because right now it's collecting dust on the shelf.
Happy Fallout 4 isn't on this top 5 list. That game was so fucking glitchy and repetitive it's a shame it received the review scores that it did. Platinumed it and now don't even look at it.
