 That's right, 8 of the top 10 games are for Nintendo systems. Why would a developer want to make a game for PS3 or 360 when no one's buying the games?

Yes but for a system that still doesnt have any games to spark japan, such as MGS4 or FF13 or FF13 vs for a $600 console, to sell over 20,000 consoles, is a big deal. Now if the ps3 was $250 and had games that fans wanted and u showed me these chart numbers, then id say that would be dissappointing, but it doesnt have any games yet to appeal to japan and the price is way higher then a wii, so expect these type sales in japan until there are games that japanese like.
