@ahztek I'm not perfect. I actually think I look a bit like Jess (I have pictures in my profile if you want to check that statement).

I'm just stating the obvious: she looks pale to me.

Aaaahhh... nevermind then! Does show she's a true gamer, since she's so pale and it's summer there :-p.

Personally, when I think a game is something I might be interested in, I do the following:

- Read the pro Gamespot review

- Check if the score from the pro matched what players rated it

- If it's very different, check the player reviews

- From the player reviews I read the ones that:

1. Don't have typo's/bad grammar

2. Don't give extreme scores (10/1)

3. Explain WHY they gave it a certain score

Pro reviews can sometimes differ a lot from my personal opinion, but do give me some clue about how the game mechanics work, wether it has loads of bugs etc. And I know myself enough to also be aware that what I find appealing in games, is not what most players tend to like and vice versa. I don't like games like GTA and COD, but most people reviewing these games do. It's not that I don't like these TYPES of games (I do like open world games like Skyrim and I do enjoy shooters like Quake/Half Life). Anyway; all I'm saying is: even pro reviewers cannot capture everyones taste. Their job is to explain without spoilers what the game is about and what they liked/disliked about it in their own, professional, opinion.

I've played the first season of Walking Dead and I really liked it. However, I really, really HATE having to stop playing midway into a storyline, so I'll wait for the whole season to be released before I buy it. And ofcourse, I'll follow my normal routine as described above before I do so ;-).

Woman, it is WINTER. Wear some clothing please! You're making me shiver just from looking at you!

Also: I'm sure you can't help it, but you speak very monotonously, which makes it really hard for me to follow what you're saying (no, this is not because English isn't my native language).

All that aside: you are right, these are really terrible games and I'm glad I have Gamespot to help me steer clear of these monsters.

I personally really disliked Surgeon Simulator.

I am a woman. I personally have never played a game that I found offensive to women or myself. I don't want women in games to look "normal". I want them to look like supernatural Goddesses, instead of some random fat chick next door. It's all PLAY. It's not REAL.

I've played my fair share of multiplayer and to be honest: I just laugh with the guys when they make sexist (non personal) jokes about women during a gaming session. Why? Because I find their jokes funny!

And when they act like "girls can't play shooters", it just makes them my primary target in the game, I proof them wrong and make a joke back.

When people do get personal: I kick them out of my team, or other players step in and tell them where to go.

What might have been good to mention in this review is the fact that most of the game is actually NOT in 3D. Walking around in towns is 9 times out of 10 in 2D, mainly battles and supertraining are in 3D. But almost everything else is 2D.
