No, it would not, personally i would not buy it.

I made a topic about my buying a xbox 360 and 3 games. I made the choice of getting a xbox 360 elite, gears, oblivion, and vegas. And I thank you for those who have helped me with this.

Ok, now for the question: I heard that the 360 is still having hardware problems. Is this true? And if it is, should I still hold off on getting it?

I would not worry about it, especially with the elites, ive heard that they still get as hot, a little quieter, but basically the same, i dont think they have been out long enough to see if they are faulty, maybe you should hold off a bit, and check it out, if it was me personally i would just by it, if your box crashes, it happens its not like its the end of the world, send it in, chill out, but im happy with my reg 360, it looks like you already made your mind up on the elite, but if you wanted my opinion i would say just get the reg box and a hard drive, thats what i did, its working out great, ive had it for almost a year, not one single problem. (now that i say that it Will probably blow up when i get home) but yeh.

Leveling, and doing so quickly, is all about knowing which zone to go to for quests, when is the soonest you can go there, and how the quests mix together so you can double up and save time.

When it comes to the expansion and the new races I would say it's not worth going back for. The new starting areas load you full of cash and items and can be done in a weekend. After you finish them it's the same old same old. Likewise, Outland is nothing new. It's the same old same old quest grind that just takes longer to level those last 10 levels than it did in levels 1-60. I personally hate the expansion, because I feel it ruined everything that was great about the game, and was totally let down by it. Though in your case it sounds like you disagree the very mechanics of the game, which leads me to say look for another game, because the expansion doesn't change anything. TBC only makes everything before it obsolete and gives you more of the same, while at the same time ruining everything that was great about the game and trashing what little balance was left in the game before it arrived.

Sounds like you do not like the basic fundementals of the game...and considering the expansion pack does not change this...you probally would get the same results.dnuggs40
