Ok well, I just got my 360 back from Microsoft today. I hook it up, press the power button, and.....nothing. No green lights, no red lights, the console just doesnt turn on. So I tell myself, thats ok, you just have it hooked up wrong, so I unhook everything and hook everything back up, I try it again and....Still nothing. I try opening the disc tray, it doesnt open. I unhook everything for a third time, and make sure everything is right and try it again and still nothing! WTF could be wrong with it?!?! Has anyone else had this problem? Hopefully im just an idiot and still have it hooked up wrong...

Ok, well I just had my friend bring his av cable over, and I hooked my 360 up with his av cable, and it worked! So the only explanation is that the brand new cable that I bought must be faulty..Grrrrrr

[QUOTE="Cardinalfan05"]Ok, well I have had my xbox 360 for over a year and I have never had any problems with it. Well, a couple of weeks ago I turned it on, and I didnt get any video. The 360 was running, there was no red lights or anything, but there was just no video on my tv. So I called microsoft support and they told me I should try getting a new AV cable. Well, I ordered a new AV cable, and just got it in the mail today. I hooked it up and turned on the 360, and still no video! Have any of you had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? I really do not want to send in my 360 to get it fixed, because I would not get it back in time for Halo 3! But if thats what I have too do,I guess I will do it, but is there any way I can fix it myself?? I am sure its not a problem with my xbox. It is running just fine, and there is no red lights...So I really dont know hwat the problem is.kambion313

hmm maybe if you sent some pictures of your set up??? this is as hard to diagnose as a skin disease so pics would be nice

I can not get any pictures of my set up online right now. Is there anything you would suggest me trying too see if it works? Thanks for the help.

Is there anyone that is just not getting video when you turn on the 360? I turn it on, it is running fine and there is no red lights, but the video does not come up on the tv.Microsoft support told me I should get a new AV cable, so I ordered a new one, hooked it up and there is still no video. Anyone know what the problem could be?
