@aross2004: Are you actually serious? This game had no gameplay at the last MS event, and it is a story about twins dealing with childhood memories and going back to that place where it happened. We have seen this recycled story in different ways in movies and TV. Why do we need this type of story in a game? Here are a few examples of the different ways:
Inception - The main character was hired to find childhood memories in the place where they happened.
An episode of Frazier - A scene where the brothers go back to a childhood to fix something.
The last season of AHS - Some characters had to deal with childhood memories at a camp and had to figure out what went wrong.
The point is that this game isn't going to be anything special, and it wasn't exciting at all during the event. I know my examples aren't exactly the same because this game will have a twist, but MS did a poor job of trying to get people excited about this game. Some people always want to defend a new game that doesn't look good.
I will think about buying this game after it has a long enough and fun campaign because if it is mostly just multiplayer, then it is not worth my time. The balancing issue in PVP could also stop me from buying this game. It is quite possible that this game will have that problem.
What exactly was exciting about the gameplay for Halo Infinite? It didn't get me excited for a new Halo game. This is one of the main problems that I have with MS because they love to brag about a lot of amazing gameplay, but their whole show was mostly mediocre. MS needs to learn how to make people excited for their games again. It is the same old story with them always.
