Is say it depends on what games you are playing, what rez and how high your settings are. I would say dont upgrade unless you get a 8800. It depends on how much you value high resolutions/effects and playing the latest games.
You can turn off that click noise when you go around on the XMB. I want a clock at least when I hold down the PS button and then it shows up(I wouldnt want it up all the time unless I could have to option to turn it on and off. I also wanted that thing like on the ps2 where the more game saves you have give you a display of blocks coming towards the user. I want more video formats to be supported but know they are working on Divx and xvid is good enough for me. I really am looking forward to Home but seriously sooner the better, (I remember watching a video of Home and the guy pulls up a PSP with the XMB on it and I am just guessing but I am thinking you could do that private chatting thing in the psp, in home. I am just wishing for that atleast. I am excited to see what is in the comming updates to the ps3 in the next 6 months
I love putting a new video card in and everything works great. I hate it when my HDD crashes and I lose everything and I really dont want stupid Vista for Dx10 stuff. Sometimes I just want my stuff to work when I want to play a game, I think that is the PC gamings biggest weakness and strength. I HATE CD Keys for old games when I lose the piece of paper.
