I'm sorry but anybody who says that buying a PC is cheap ALWAYS forgets that 90% of people who don't own a good PC need a monitor, and probably speakers or headphonesWasdieNot even an argument - as already mentioned, going by this you need to add on the cost of a TV and speakers for the purchase of any console. However, the main problem with this argument is that a PC will work on any TV, but of course as a console fanboy you cannot be expected to have basic technical understanding like this.

And the two weird resolutions combined make up 28% of your numbers. Aren't the other 72% the most common resolutions then?NielsNLNo - they are the most popular individual resolutions. The resolutions that the PS3 supports are far less popular: 1920 x 1080 - 11.09% 1366 x 768 - 5.58% (Standard small-screen HDTV resolution) 1280 x 720 - 0.70% As for the remaining resolutions, they are unsupported by both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The PS3 upscales all games to 720p (or 1080i/p if it supports it). Yes, your monitor will support it.BigBoss154Low-resolution video signals like 720p look like trash when upscaled by the display on high-resolution monitors.
What does resolution do with anything? And it makes up quite a portion of ur argument.mystervjResolutions don't matter? Clearly you think that the jump to High-definition was pointless. The point is that the PS3 looks terrible on 1280x1024, 1440x900 or 1680x1050 displays, the most popular resolutions for PC gamers.
I'm hypothetically suggesting that the hardware comes with a software that rips the ps2 game from the dvd so you can put it on your memory stickFeedOnATreeFrogSomeone already said that this idea just won't work. Unless they sold this portable PS2 at a massively expensive profitable price, Sony would make no money out of this. Existing PS2 owners would transfer all of their games without paying a dime to Sony, new system owners would likely buy the readily available used copies of PS2 games, and piracy would go out of control.
[QUOTE="CentricStorm"]Your points are all facts? [QUOTE="hamzah1235"]It has more high rated titles and exclusiveshamzah1235Evidence to back this up? Not sure how you can compare the consoles in this area seeing as you haven't defined what you mean by 'high rated'. The PS3 has 9 AAAE's, and 1 AAAAE, it has at least 6 very high profile exclusives (LBP2, KZ3, Socom 4, etc) that utilize the Move, and yes, my points are all facts Again, you still haven't defined what your given term 'high rated' means. Some people could take it to mean games scoring 70 and above, whereas other may only consider a game to be 'high rated' if it scores 100. You have to define that term when you use it since there is no commonly recognised meaning for it.
The points I have listed are all factshamzah1235Your points are all facts?
Move has much more higher quality and harcore titles than Kinecthamzah1235Has it? I didn't know it was out right now.

Exactly. Pitting console gamers against PC gamers is unfair and the multiplayer experience would be heavily unbalanced in favour of the controller users. Recent FPS games like Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3, and Section 8 have massive levels of aim assist, in some cases almost reaching auto aim levels. The PC players wouldn't stand a chance, unless they themselves have 100% accuracy, in which case they are admitting to hacking.totally defeats the point of competitive multiplayer if some people have a handicap and others don't

[QUOTE="CentricStorm"]Can you play against multiplayer bots in this game? If not then it will be a no-go for me.LethalhazardYup. They have four levels of difficulty, too. Could be a purchase for me then. It's good that multiplayer bots have been pretty much standardised in RTS games - I find it quite poor that most FPS developers are still not bright enough to produce good quality multiplayer AI for their games.
