I have a strange problem with my PS3, when i try to turn it on, the green light turns on but after a few seconds, the console goes back to stanby mode again... I tried leaving it off for 24 hours to see maybe it was overheated but then THE SAME PROBLEM!!
I can't do anything now, I was thinking of opening it but then it will void the warranty i have for it.
what should i do??? :cry:
EDIT: Ive tried plugin it in a different place, still the same problem remains :cry: :cry:
I dunno nethin abt it,and b4 buyin a ps3 can ne tell me abt charges and whether updates are to b paid for and if it is possible nt 2 join psn and still play games.
Or is it tht psn is necessary fr updating and also will i not b able to play games w/o updates?

Here ill translate" Good evening gentlemen, i have a few queries about the sony playsation 3 before i would purchase one. Does firmware and system updates require me to use my hard earned dollars on, and does playing online cost money.
The one I really enjoyed was when he was crawling through the microwave place in the end of the game, I mean common that was just pure awesome to press the triangle so much back then ^_^.loggerz
