I like Snyder's style. He managed to make a great remake out an already brilliant film - Dawn of the Dead. I liked Watchmen, but I hated 300 and Sucker Punch.

I haven't gotten into Superman because I just never liked the character. I have watched Smallville though. Quite enjoyed that. I never really was interested in the Christopher Reeve versions for some reason.

As for the destruction in Man of Steel - I think it'll play into the second film quite a bit and I think that's why Batman will show up. Superman will learn from the death and destruction and that's what will make him who he is. Snyder's already suggested that it will play into what makes Superman become Clark Kent the reporter and what makes Superman the Superman we know.

Bayloski - go for the PS4 on day one. If you don't like it I'm sure you'll be able to flip it pretty easily for a nice profit.

I'm rewatching Scream right now and it's so amazing how well that film has held up. I remember seeing it in the cinema and just loving it. Such an awesome film.

mjc - I'll give that gif cam a shot. I quite like little gifs of accidents and stuff like that. I don't mind videos, but there's something about gifs that make them quite enjoyable.

I'll respond in full later on, but I've only ever seen Superman Returns and I've never watched the original Superman's or even Lois and Clark.

Just made my first gif. Or, attempt at a gif. It's not that hard. I'll be making Abbe May gif's til the cows come home. Then I'll be making gifs of cows coming home.

Yeah, I've dropped it at work and people haven't been impressed, but it's usually after nearly being bitten or scratched by an animal so that kind of counts.

The Wolverine is really enjoyable. I didn't think it would be since the ads looked like shit, but I really liked it. I find it surprising that given I'm not that into cars, I really love the Fast and Furious series. I'll happily rewatch them any time. I also saw Riddick recently and don't recommend it.

I swear like you wouldn't believe how much I swear. It's really quite terrible. I always have to ask my wife if I can say the C word when posting facebook updates. I keep forgetting that I have friends who are mum's on my facebook so they may not appreciate the c-bomb.

I haven't seen it yet. I meant to see it, but read the plot before seeing it and wasn't interested. The Wolverine and Furious 6 are both very good though.

I'm not excited for Batman Arkham Origins at all. If it weren't done by the guys who did Prototype, I'd be excited for sure. I'd usually preorder these things, just like I did for the other two Batman games, but not this time - even though the figure is pretty darn sweet.

Did WB Montreal pick up some of the people laid off from Radical Entertainment? While I loved Prototype and Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, I haven't really seen anything that'd indicate that this game would be that different to previous Batman games.

I kind of hope that WB has given Rocksteady a bit more freedom and they're currently working on something other than another Batman sequel.

The head of the production was the guy behind Prototype and Hulk. I don't know how/when he moved there though. I'm sure they'll have to stick to a template set up by the first two games. I think the gameplay will be fine, but I fear that the story won't match up to the first two games - part of what made them so damn great in my opinion.

I hope they do as well. Although, I have a feeling the reason Rocksteady didn't do Arkham Origins is that they were probably working on a next gen version of Batman or a Justice League game (which would be great).
